A clearer path to land

Experience Built Around Accessible Land Ownership

For more than 14 years, our private marketplace has connected buyers with unimproved land through auctions and straightforward purchase options.

Who we are

A Private Land Company with a Proven Track Record

LandAuction was established more than 14 years ago as a clearinghouse for unimproved land. Since then, more than 20,000 properties have been sold through the marketplace.

We are a private company—not a government agency. We work with state, county, and city agencies, along with other sources, to acquire raw land and real estate through foreclosures, tax-lien sales, surplus-property programs, and liquidation sales.

Buying parcels in volume lets us offer a broad mix of properties to first-time buyers, experienced land investors, and organizations. Available land can range from lots smaller than one acre to tracts as large as 640 acres.

01

Clear Title Promise

Every land purchase comes with a guaranteed free-and-clear title or your money back. Buyers should still review each listing and complete their own due diligence during the period stated in the auction rules.

02

Simple Transfer Cost

Instead of complicated closing costs, a $249 administrative transfer fee applies. This fee covers the administrative work associated with transferring the property.

03

Open to More Buyers

No pre-qualification is required to participate. International buyers are generally eligible, although non-U.S. citizens are asked to pay by credit card or wire transfer.

After a winning bid

What Happens Next

Winning bidders have four days to pay the initial invoice. Depending on the purchase type, buyers then receive either a DocuSign land contract or a vesting form for an outright purchase.

Outright land buyers receive a warranty deed, property tax bill, conveyance tax certificate, plat map, and instructions for filing the deed with the local county. Financed buyers receive a Standard Agreement of Sale through DocuSign with monthly-payment details.
